Terrahawk

Great trip (like always) to our favorite island. This was the third time we have stayed at Terrahawk in the last year or so. The location is ideal for us since it is about 5 minutes to Cruz Bay and about 5 minutes to Cinnamon Bay. The house is an ideal size for either one or two couples.

We have rented from Catered To for many years and highly recommend them. Terrahawk is a special spot with perhaps the best location on St. John. Imagine having your own almost private beach with great snorkeling just a very short walk away! The small home is perfect for two or three. Furnishings are comfortable and the kitchen works very well for nights in. A/C and WiFi work perfectly and water for showers is always hot. The ideal location makes it easy to simply hail a safari taxi from the driveway to visit other North Shore Beaches and be dropped off at the same spot at day’s end. The drive to Cruz Bay is under ten minutes too! You could easily - and happily - spend your entire visit at Terrahawk and Oppenheimer Beach and go no where else! A gem!

This was our fourth visit to St. John and our first to Terrahawk; it will not be our last. It's a beautiful villa within walking distance (rare in STJ) to the stunning and secluded Gibney/ Oppenheimer Beach. It's a very short drive to the other North Shore beaches, so you can beat the crowd to a parking spot. Cruz Bay is also very close.
I was so impressed with how well-appointed the kitchen was- in addition to the usual things, it had an electric tea kettle, cheese grater, citrus juicer, toaster oven (and toaster)... everything you need. One thing not listed in the description of the villa that's important to mention- it has a Tesla wall, so you have back-up power. Sunsets from the deck were incredible- wouldn't change a thing, other than staying longer!

We know and love Gibney Beach in Hawksnest Bay - great beach, never crowded, great for swimming and Terrahawk is just above that beach. Terrahawk is set on the hill overlooking the bay, a few minutes walk down to the beach (note: steep climb back up, not for people with limitations). The house/villa is perfect, great layout and furnishings, including a terrace overlooking the sea. Definitely would rent again.

This villa has a great location, close to Cruz Bay with all the restaurants but not that far of a drive home. It is a great set up for two couples. The kitchen is adequate and the covered deck is the best place of the villa!

From start to finish, our experience was wonderful. The team communicated with us quickly and provided all the information we would need for our stay. Jhelisa met us at the Starfish Market after we picked up our jeep/groceries and led us to the property. She was very thorough with her tour and answered all of our questions. The photos are a great representation of the villa but you can't really appreciate it until you are there! Stunning view. Comfortable beds, couch and outdoor furniture. Fully equipped kitchen. The high ceilings rock feature wall are beautiful. It is so bright and cheerful! The bonus is being right across from Oppenheimer Beach so you can literally walk to the end of the driveway and cross the road to get to a beach. The snorkeling there is great too! We saw turtles and loads of tropical fish! This place is a truly a 10 out of 10 stay and if I ever come back, I will be staying here.
