Welcome Back to St. John in a Post-Covid World!

Sun chasers rejoice! We are open and eager to welcome you back to your home away from home. As of June 1, we have progressed to an “open door” blue phase. More about that later.

First, let’s share some good news:

• Charters and hospitality providers may receive bookings.

• Live music resumed.

• All beaches are open.

• National Park restrooms, showers, trails, beaches, parking areas and waters are open.

• Most restaurants and bars are open.

• Restaurants with bars may continue to serve to-go beverages.

• Salons, massage and spas are open by appointment.

• ​Gyms, tennis courts, golf courses open.

• New Lovango Rum Bar is open in Cruz Bay with nearly 200 choices of rum.

So what does the “open door” blue phase entail?

• Customers entering a commercial establishment are required to wear a mask.

• Limit of 10 people in a business other than grocery stores.

• Employees of restaurants and bars must wear a mask and have limitations on seating capacity.

• Heat sensors have been installed at the airport to measure fever temperature.

• Visitors are encouraged to report symptoms to the VI Department of Health.
