Travel to St. John is Booming!

St. John is jamming! This month there are nearly 1,450 flights arriving at the St. Thomas Airport, around 48 flights per day! Why the sudden increase, you ask? Following are a few reasons for the jump.

More flights are at capacity. The increase in flights also offer more access for Americans who prefer to travel within the U.S. without a passport. There are also 23 airports around the world that have direct flights to St. Thomas. Frontier Airlines also recently increased the number of direct flights.

More people are working remotely than ever before and it’s said that this trend is likely to continue. Wouldn’t you rather set up your home office on the veranda of a luxury villa surrounded by palm trees and the sound of the sea? Want to take your lunch break walking on the beach or hiking in the National Park? It sure beats the concrete jungle!

The weather is consistently a comfortable 80 degrees, give or take 5. You can also pack lightly and leave the heavy gear behind.

Several provisioning companies offer order-ahead groceries so you can even arrive with your refrigerator and pantry completely customized to your liking.
